Connecting a Shopify store to Lyna has no Shopify app charges. There is no app subscription, no per-connection fee, and nothing added to your Shopify invoice by Lyna. The connector is part of Lyna and is covered by your Lyna plan and credits, like every other Lyna feature.

What your Lyna plan covers

• Both connection levels: Storefront connect and Full access. Upgrading a project to full access is free.
• The Shopify AI tools in chat. Chat usage draws on your Lyna credits the same way as any other conversation, whether or not Shopify tools are involved.
• The API Explorer and webhooks management.
• Publishing your storefront, per your Lyna plan's publishing rules.

There is no separate paywall for Shopify-connected projects, and no Shopify-specific plan to pick inside Lyna.

What Shopify bills you

Your Shopify store subscription is the only Shopify-side cost, and it is paid to Shopify directly. It is what lets your store sell to real customers, and it is completely separate from Lyna pricing.

• Development stores are free. You can build, preview, and test the full storefront on a free development store at no cost.
• Selling publicly requires a paid Shopify plan. After any trial, publishing the Online Store sales channel to real customers needs an active paid plan on Shopify.

The shopping assistant

The AI shopping assistant is the one Shopify feature with usage-based cost, and it is off by default. When you enable it, each shopper message it answers is metered against your Lyna credits, up to a daily budget cap you set when turning it on. Disabling it stops all charges immediately.

• The daily cap bounds your maximum spend per day, so runaway usage cannot surprise you.
• The plain product-search widget (the assistant's default mode) is free and needs no server.
