Storefront features

Lyna builds a real storefront inside your own project (Vite, React, React Router). It reads your catalog through the public Storefront API and sends shoppers to Shopify's hosted checkout, so there is never a custom payment form holding card data. Everything here works at either connection level, since the storefront only needs the public Storefront token.

To add any of these, just describe it in chat. The modules are additive: Lyna never overwrites files you already have.

Core storefront

The baseline scaffold gives you the essentials:

  • Product listing at /products
  • Product detail at /products/:handle
  • Cart and hosted checkout: a cart context wired to Shopify's cart mutations, with checkout on Shopify's secure hosted page.

Ask Lyna: "Scaffold the storefront with a product listing, product pages, and a cart, then wire it to my store."

A search page that queries your catalog with Shopify search syntax, plus filtering and pagination.

Ask Lyna: "Add a search page to my storefront."

Customer accounts

Shopper sign-in and an order history page, backed by the Storefront customer API.

Ask Lyna: "Add customer sign-in and an orders page."

Product reviews

A reviews component backed by Shopify metaobjects, so reviews live in your store data.

Ask Lyna: "Add product reviews to the product page."

Wishlist

A shopper wishlist saved in the browser, with a dedicated /wishlist page.

Ask Lyna: "Add a wishlist feature."

Recommendations

A related-products section powered by the Storefront recommendations API. It hides itself when Shopify returns no recommendations, which is normal for a new store.

Ask Lyna: "Show related products on the product page."

Subscriptions

If your store already has selling plans (subscription frequencies), Lyna can add a selector so shoppers pick a plan and buy it. Creating new plans needs a subscriptions app on Shopify, so Lyna surfaces and sells the plans you already set up.

Ask Lyna: "Let shoppers choose a subscription option on the product page."

International markets

An international layer that shows prices in the shopper's currency and language, with a market and country selector, using Shopify Markets and the Storefront in-context directive.

Ask Lyna: "Add multi-currency support for my international markets."

SEO

Structured-data helpers (page titles, descriptions, and product and breadcrumb JSON-LD) are always included in the scaffold, so your product pages are search-friendly out of the box.

Ask Lyna: "Set the SEO title and structured data on my product pages."

Shopping assistant

A floating widget that helps shoppers find products. By default it does instant product search at no cost. You can upgrade it to a conversational AI assistant that answers open questions and returns matching products. See AI Tools, Shopping assistant for how it is billed and turned on.

Ask Lyna: "Add the AI shopping assistant to my storefront."

After Lyna scaffolds the storefront, ask it to set the Storefront variables so your app can read the catalog, then register the returned routes. Lyna walks you through both.
